Employee Assistance

Work. Life. Balance.

Sometimes you just need a little help. No matter who you are or what your title is, every overworked worker in today’s economy could use a helping hand with life’s everyday challenges. That’s why an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) can be an important addition to your benefits package.

EAP programs are designed to help employees resolve personal difficulties of any type that may be affecting their health, family life, and desire to excel at work.

Your employees and the members of their households may be entitled to employer paid EAP services. Participation is completely voluntary, and EAP services provide confidential counseling over the telephone on a wide variety of issues, ranging from:

  • Relationship/Marriage Problems
  • Family Issues
  • Life Changes
  • Stress/Emotional Issues
  • Alcohol & Drug Dependency
  • Financial Issues
  • Loss/Grief
  • Family Violence
  • Home/Career Challenges
  • Child & Elder Care Assistance
  • Pre-Retirement Planning
  • Many Other Problems Affecting Your Employees

Most EAP services can be accessed through a dedicated toll-free number 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. These EAP services are employer paid and are free to the employee unless the employee desires additional services not covered by the EAP. Employees and their eligible family members may be entitled to receive a specified number of counseling sessions each year.
